Rosemary Grapefruit Spritz
Rosemary and Grapefruit come together with Vodka in this refreshing and festive cocktail
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 sprigs rosemary
The Spritz
- 2 cups grapefruit juice
- 2 cups carbonated water
- 6 ounces vodka
- 3 cups ice cubes
- 4 sprigs rosemary optional for garnish
Rosemary Simple Syrup
This step is to be completed before you start assembling your cocktails. You can even make it days ahead and store in the refrigerator.
Add the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until dissolved.
Add the rosemary sprigs and bring the mixture to a simmer for about 5 minutes until fragrant and all sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and let sit for about 10 more minutes.
Use it now to make your cocktails OR place in a container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
The Spritz
Place 4 glasses on the counter and add the grapefruit juice, carbonated water and vodka to each glass (splitting evenly).
Add about 2 teaspoons of rosemary simple syrup to each glass (add a little more if you prefer a sweeter drink) and stir.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary in each glass and enjoy. Cheers!
