Peachy Popsicles

These homemade popsicles are the perfect summer treat when peaches are in season - they're naturally sweet from the peaches, they have a creamy yogurt base and are great for everyone, grown up or kid!
Servings: 8 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 3 cups peaches, fresh or frozen cubed
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup yogurt, plain any kind, dairy-free is great too
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for kids <1
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract optional
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds optional

Equipment

  • 1 Popsicle Mold *The number of popsicles this recipe makes depends on the size of your molds. If you don't have molds, you can use mini dixie cups (or similar)
  • 1 Blender

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until it reaches a smoothie-like consistency (a few remaining peach chunks are totally fine)
  2. Pour the mixture into your popsicle molds, add in the sticks and freeze for 4-6 hours (if you are using little cups with popsicle sticks, freeze without the sticks for about an hour before putting the sticks in)
  3. Once they're frozen, remove from molds and enjoy (you may need to run the mold under warm water to loosen the popsicle from the sides)
